“The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong.”
― Laura Ingalls Wilder
At first I thought you meant on her teeth. But it does look some some kind of braces or something on her legs. I had noticed that when I bought the picture, but had forgotten.
Hi Jenny! I collect these photos. I felt badly that they were left in antique stores. Where were their families? And so a hobby was started. I mostly collect children's photos. I like to post a photo from my collection every Sunday. If there's any name or location I will add that, but sadly they are often without any information at all.
I love that you collect these photos. I always wondered about portraits and photos of children in antique stores. Who were they, who did they become, who loved them? What beautiful little girls. I love checking in on Sunday.
Is that little girl wearing braces?

DeleteShe seems to be putting most of her weight on the chair. Poor little soul.
DeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteThey're sweet. Oh, the hours of ironing in those little white dresses.
ReplyDeleteCute photo!
ReplyDeleteDetails please...who are these ultra sweet girls? What is the date of this photo? I one of them you?
ReplyDeleteAh, curiosity...the bane of my existence.
Cheers, Jenny
